He starts out by using a Fast Blur and increasing the Blurriness to show how the edges loose color value. This is fixed by checking the repeat edge pixels box just underneath Blurriness. From there VideoFort Jon applies a curves adjustment layer, this allows you to changes the brightness, midtones and darkness. By rearranging the order of Effect, you’ll notice how they apply differently to the video. You can also search for effects by using the Effects and Presets window pane, VideoFort Jon searches for glow in his example. It is also easy to duplicate effect by right clicking and choosing duplicate, you can also delete something by pressing delete. After Effects is also capable of color correction. You can add a Hue and Saturation layer which allows you to colorize a shot to whatever color you want. Cinema 4D: Create Bender from Futurama Part 2

Now that you have the head created we can move on to the torso.Bring up the reference image. Select the bottom portion of the Head using the Rectangle Selection tool and hold control and drag down to bottom to extrude that portion. Then scale out the sides to match Bender. Then select that bottom portion and extrude down the torso. Now you will work to create the door on the torso. You’ll need to use your knife tool to cut out a section on the torso for the door. Then you’ll select some segments and right click and choose to split the segments, this create another instance of your selection. You can now delete the segments on the torso. Cinema 4D: Create Bender from Futurama Part 3

So you have the Head, and Torso made for Bender. Now you’ll create the arms and legs. Create a new cylinder, adjust its settings to make it one of Bender’s legs. Then select the bottom portion of the leg using the Rectangle Selection tool and hold control and drag down to bottom to extrude that portion. Then scale out the sides to match Bender foot, you can also use a hemisphere instead of using the extrude method. Drop it in to the symmetry object and position them accordingly. Now you’ll make the arms. Create another cylinder, orientation +X, and adjust the settings to be the shoulders, add a fillet cap as well. Then you can remove everything but the fillet cap end. Remove a portion of the fillet cap then select the end of it and extrude it out to be the arm. Drop it in the symmetry object to get the other arm. Then select the end portion of the arm and scale it out to be the hand. Add three cylinders and adjust them to be fingers....
